Pakistan’s Another Proud; Umar Saif Got Honored in the 500 Most Influential Muslims

Undoubtedly, Pakistan is filled with eternal talent that comes to view more often despite of fields and regions across. Either, it is technology related product, startup innovations or research breakthroughs; our country is making waves through leaps and bounds.

Just Recently, The 500 Most Influential Muslims’ by Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre in Amman, Jordan (16th edition) got published and amazingly, one of the renowned technology enthusiasts, Chairman PITB, Dr Umar Saif has been honored in it.

It merits mentioning that Dr Umar Saif, Sitara-i-Imtiaz is an award winning scientist, innovator and entrepreneur as well as a core member of $50 million Project Oxygen at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). However, he got acknowledged as “Young Global Leader” by MIT Technology Review in 2011. However, founding Vice Chairman of Information Technology University, the publication celebrates Dr Umar Saif as an entrepreneur and tech innovator.

This “500 Most Influential Muslims’ edition gave the first spot to King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein who is the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Custodian of the Holy Sites in Jerusalem, while Professor Dr Sheikh Ahmad Muhammad Al-Tayyeb who is a Grand Sheikh of the Al-Azhar University and Grand Imam of the Al-Azhar Mosque reserved the second spot. However, King Salman bin AbdulAziz Al-Saud (new) King of Saudi Arabia who is Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques carried third position in the list.

Moreover, under the issued publication of “the Muslims 500”, Prime Minister Nazwaz Sharif and one of the famous persona in religious talks, Maulan Tariq Jamil get honorable mention within.

Thus with this publication, Pakistan has got another recognition with remarkable talent while making nation proud.
